 The Plymouth Downtown Christmas Celebration committee is looking for sponsors for this year’s parade of lights and tree lighting event on Friday, November 27th.There are several different levels of sponsorship available including the “Holly Jolly” level with a donation of $250.00, the “Snowman” level which is $150.00, “Icicle” level for $75.00 and “Snow Flake” level for only a $25.00

Back again for this year’s event will be the ice sculptures. A business or organization can sponsor their own ice craving that will be created to their choosing and displayed along Michigan Street in the downtown area or in River Park Square. Cost of a 300 pound ice carving is $200 and a 600 pound ice carving is $275. New this year is a carving demonstration will take place in front of the Plymouth Chamber durning the day on November 27th. Ice Sculpture Form >
For the past couple of year the Parade of Lights brings Santa to town. This is a must see event because all participants are required to have lights on their units. There will be vehicles, floats, and walking units involved and if you’d like to participate there is no cost only the requirement to fill out an application and follow the parade rules. All local businesses, civic groups and organizations are encouraged to participate. Parade Application > |
There are many other activities going on along with the Lighted Parade and Tree Lighting including the trains running at the museum, hot chocolate and cookies, a craft, shopping and musical entertainment.
