StarkeCounty_MugSHot_Robert_MannsOn February 16th, the Starke County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Burglary located in the 7000 south block of 250 W in North Judson.

The victim stated that he was outside and witnessed two males coming out of his garage and they took off running through the woods with items in their hands. The victim discovered that he had various items missing such as chainsaws, welder, hand tools and other power tools.

Officers followed the foot prints to the residence to the north and then to a pole barn to the north of that residence and located the stolen items.

Rickie Clemons, 19 yrs old of Knox is being held in the Starke County Jail on Preliminary Charges of Burglary and Theft.

On March 12th, after seeing Starke County’s Most Wanted List the Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip that Robert Manns,40 yrs old of North Judson, who had an active warrant from this Burglary case, was at a residence in the area of 6200 south block of 250 W.

Starke County Sheriff’s Officers along with K9 Terror responded to the residence and heard movement, after approximately 5 minutes a female answered the door. Officer’s entered the residence with K9 Terror and located Robert Manns hiding in a trap door and arrested him without incident and transported to the Starke County Jail for booking.

Both suspects are being held on $25,000 Bond.
