On Tuesday, October 6th Starke County officers responded to the area of the Fingerhut Bakery on Bass Lake on County Road 210 for a complaint of illegal drugs.

Officers were flagged down by subjects sitting around a vehicle in the parking lot.  As officers spoke to a female she appeared to be under the influence of narcotics.  A request to search the vehicle was denied.  K9 Terror was deployed and indicated the presence of narcotics.

Officers saw the male subject throw a bag into the grass.  When they located it they discovered mathamphetamine.

StarkeCounty_MugShots_WARNER, JoshuaJoshua Warner, 36 from Fort Wayne was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamines, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia and Conversion.

StarkeCounty_MugSHot_STEPHANIE, McKennaStephanie McKenna, 22 of LaPorte was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance, Conversion and Disorderly Conduct.

Both are being held with no bond until their initial hearing in Starke Circuit Court.
