On Friday, December 4th, officers with the Starke County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the Burger King in Knox.
Officers spoke to the driver Christopher Reed and asked for consent to search the vehicle consent was granted by Christopher and the vehicle owner Tia Santiago.
While searching the vehicle, officers located several items used to manufacture methamphetamine inside the vehicle and also located marijuana on the rear seat passenger Jacob Hanselman.
Preliminary Charges filed against 35 year old Christopher Reed were Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Precursors.
32 year old Tai Santiago was charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Precursors.
33 year old Jacob Hanselman was booked into the Starke County Jail for Possession of Precursors, Visiting a Common Nuisance and Possession of Marijuana
