Starke County Sheriff DeptOn Tuesday, March 17th detectives from the Starke County Sheriff’s Department received information that John Risner and Valerie Haddix has been making Methamphetamines at their residence in the 2000 S block of 100 W, in North Judson.

Officers went to the residence along with K9 Terror and spoke to 45 year old Valerie Haddix. She gave consent to search the residence and officers located syringes, paraphernalia with residue in the syringes and marijuana.  Haddix told officers that the residue would test positive for Methamphetamines.

While at the residence 33 year old John Risner came to the residence and was arrested on a City Court Warrant for Attempted over purchase of Pseudoephedrine. He was also arrested on a Preliminary Charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana.

At this time he is being held with no bond.
