On Friday, March 20th the Starke County Sheriff’s Office along with K9 Terror went to serve an active warrant on a subject located in the 8,000 N block of Tecumseh Rd in Koontz Lake.
Officer’s located, 20 year old Dorsie “DJ” Cooper and arrested him on the active warrant. After obtaining consent to search the residence officer’s located syringes, paraphernalia and other items used to manufacture Methamphetamines. Outside the residence Officer’s located more items used to manufacture Methamphetamine, precursors and HCL generator’s.
Cooper is being held on Dealing Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Reckless Possession of Paraphernalia and the Active Arrest Warrant in the Starke County Jail. Mr. Cooper is being held without bond at this time.
