StarkeCountyMugShot_SobieckOn October 1st, the Starke County Sheriff’s Office received information that Registered Sex Offender, James Sobieck of Knox, was no longer living at his last registered address.

After a 2 day investigation, officers were able to locate Sobieck at a residence on 250 N in Starke County. Sobieck admitted to the officer that he had been residing at that location and was no longer living at the Knox address.

Sobieck was taken into custody without incident for Failure to Register as Sex Offender and is currently being held at the Starke County Justice Center with a $25,000 surety bond.
