Eric Day Stay PositiveIn the fall of 2010, PHS Graduate Eric Day was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  A freshman at Indiana State College, Eric had come home for the weekend and became ill experiencing a sever headache.  When his parents returned home after the weekend they took him to his local doctor who ran a precautionary CT.  The results were an immediate trip to South Bend to a specialist.  From there he was transported to Indianapolis and had two brain surgeries, days in intensive care, and rigorous physical therap.

On February 9th of this year Eric announce on Facebook that he’s still in remission.

Through this entire ordeal Eric’s motto was “Stay Positive.”  The children’s book captures and shares his life changing experience.

Eric recently released a book he wrote and 2014 PHS grad Dan Flynn illustrated, “Stay Positive.”

The community is invited to the Stay Positive Book Reading and Signing this Saturday, February 28th at 10:30 Saint Michael School in Plymouth.  Books will be available for $15.
