Tuesday evening about 8:30 the Plymouth Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at the former Scrap Yard at 505 West Garro Street.
When police arrived on the scene they said it was fully engulfed. As fire fighters pulled up there were flame shooting from a shed on the west side of the structure although the main structure was not involved.
Crews were able to extinguish the blaze in a matter of minutes and spent some time on the scene making sure there were no hot spots and investigating the scene.
Plymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller believes kids started the fire as there were footprints in and around the structure.
