“Together We Can, Marshall County” is this year’s United Way campaign theme and volunteers will put the slogan to action full force September 21-23! Teams of volunteers will be in Argos, Bourbon, Bremen, Culver and Plymouth canvassing local retail businesses for their support in this year’s United Way campaign. The 2015 campaign goal is $550,000 and the dollars raised stay in Marshall County to help build stronger communities.
Every dollar counts as United Way focuses on the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a good job, income that can support a family through retirement and good health. United Way is about more than short-term charity for a few: United Way is about lasting solutions that build opportunity for all. United Way of Marshall County supports 24 member agencies providing services and programs across Marshall County as well as special initiatives including Project Lead The Way, Kindergarten Countdown and the Marshall County Career Success Coalition.
United Way volunteers will be in the Plymouth area on Monday, September 21, in Argos, Bourbon and Culver on Tuesday, and in Bremen and LaPaz on Wednesday.
