Plymouth Police Officer Bridge Hite received a complaint of a male subject that was wanted near the Plymouth Library at Garro and Center Streets. About 2:50 Thursday afternoon she located Anthony D. Porter getting into a vehicle. Checking with dispatch found a warrant for Porter out of Marshall County for failure to appear. He was taken into custody and incarcerated in the Marshall County Jail.
Later Thursday afternoon about 4:25 Officer Shanna Gilmer arrested 27 year old Larry B. Back of Plymouth for violating his terms of home detention. Mr. Back was also found to be in possession of a scheduled IV drug and a legend drug. He was booked into the jail on no bond and given a March 3 court date in Superior Court I.
Kirk A. Barnett of Plymouth was arrested Thursday evening about 9 after Wal-Mart called for a shoplifter. Barnett had two small children with him at the time. They were released to his mother. Barnett was booked for theft in the County Jail.
