Plymouth High School will host their annual Alumni Association Banquet on Friday, June 19th at Christo’s Banquet Center. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
During the evening the PHS Class of 1965 will be recognize as they will be celebrating their 50th anniversary of graduation. The 2015 Distinguished Alumni will also be announced and will speak to those gathered.
The alumni association is currently accepting nominations for the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame Award. Since 1984, this award has been given to recognize Plymouth graduates who have made a significant contribution in their field or have been of exceptional service to their profession either locally, statewide, and or nationally. The purpose of the Plymouth Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award is not only to honor outstanding graduates, but also to provide some kind of incentive for the PHS student body to see what can be accomplished.
To be considered for nomination, the PHS graduate must have graduated at least five calendar years prior to their nomination. Alumni cannot nominate themselves and posthumous nominations will be accepted. The nominator should complete the nomination form in a manner that depicts the whole person and with an emphasis on what makes the nominee outstanding. Nominations need to be submitted as soon as possible.
