After reading, “The All American Slurp,” a story about understanding and appreciating other cultures, Mrs. McFarland’s 6th grade reading class at Triton Elementary School put their weekly skill of “comparing and contrasting” into a real world situation by comparing and contrasting chopsticks and forks. They decided they’d all be very skinny if they had to eat with chopsticks!

Cathy Strycker’s third grade class at Triton Elementary School took a brain break from ISTEP testing last week and worked out to GoNoodle.
Justin Hefner and Corey McVey present their physics website to their physics class at Triton Jr.- Sr. High School. The students were to develop a website with a game that could be played according to how Newton’s Three Laws of Motion would work in the moon’s environment. A lot of creativity and analysis went into the creation of these games and websites. Do you think NASA will want to send a group to the moon to test the games these students created? The physics instructor at Triton is Sean McPherson.
