ArrestedA traffic stop by county police on Saturday October 3rd resulted in the arrest of two people from Wabash.

At approximately 9:35 p.m. an officer with the Marshall County Police Department initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for a violation on US 31 in the area of 11th Road.

MugShot_Don CantrellDuring the stop it was determined that the driver, 54 year old Don Cantrell, of Wabash was in Possession of substances including heroin, methamphetamine, and prescription medication.  The passenger in the vehicle, 24 year old Brittany Fields also of Wabash was also found to be in possession of prescription medication to which she held a prescription for.

MugShot_Brittany FieldsBoth Subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.  Don Cantrell was booked for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Paraphernalia.  Brittany Fields was booked for Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Both subjects were given a bond of $1,500 and court dates were set in Marshall County Superior Court #2.

 

The Sheriff’s Dept. was assisted at the scene by Plymouth Police.
