Jackie_Walorski_RepresentativeU.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (IN-02), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Tuesday announced details for her upcoming defense tour where she will travel across several cities in Indiana to visit military installations and industry partners in an effort to showcase the importance of Indiana’s role nationally and locally in defense interests, technology and research and bolster her familiarity with various sites and their assets.

On Tuesday, November 10th Walorski will tour Honeywell in South Bend and the AM General Test Track. In the afternoon the Congresswoman will travel to Fort Wayne and tour the 122nd Fighter Wing and tour ABE Systems.

On Wnesday, November 11th, Veterans Day Walorski will attend a service at the Indiana War Memorial in downtown Indianapolis.  That afternoon she will visit the Joint Forces Headquarters of the Indiana Air National Guard in Indy and lead a roundtable titled, “Indiana’s Defense Partnerships: Reaching Across Major Industries to Strengthen Hoosier Defense.”  Congresswoman Walorski rounds out her day with a tour of Rolls-Royce.

On Thursday, November 12th Walorski will tour the Crane Naval Facility.

 

Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District in Indiana, where she serves as a member of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, House Armed Services Committee and House Committee on Agriculture.
