StarkeCounty_mugShot_Jossue UgaldeSunday afternoon, December 20th at approximately 2:45 a deputy with the Starke County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop for a speeding violation in the area of US 30 just east of CR500 E.

During the traffic stop investigation, the Deputy obtained verbal consent to search the contents of the vehicle and subsequently located a white plastic bag tied in a knot that contained a hard substance, the substance was field tested and tested positive for Methamphetamine.

The investigation found the total weight of the narcotics to be approximately 10 grams.

24 year old Jossue Estrada Ugalde of Warren, IN was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony, Operator Never Licensed and a citation for driving 89 MPH in a 55MPH zone.

Starke County Sheriff Bill Dulin said, “The Starke County Sheriff’s Office is committed to work to reduce the illegal drug activity within the community.”
