On Wednesday, June 17 about 4:45 in the afternoon Bremen police officers were dispatched to the 500 block of South Shumaker Street in Bremen for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers were informed that one party involved in the dispute had left in a vehicle. A short time later officers located the vehicle and stopped it on Fir Road just South of Bremen. During the investigation officers discovered that the driver had a suspended license. Tyler Hochestetler, 20, of Bourbon was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Driving While Suspended with a prior charge.
On Wednesday, June 17 about 9:40 in the evening Bremen officers made a traffic stop at US 6 and State Road 106 East in Bremen. During the investigation officers discovered that the operator had a suspended license and had never had a license. Chelsi Clevenger, 23, of Nappanee was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail on a complaint of Driving While Suspended and Operator Never Licensed.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
