arrestsOn Friday, March 6th at 5:53 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Shanna Gilmer conducted a traffic stop on 34 year old Angel Reinaldo Pagoada-Pavon of Plymouth for a traffic violation in the 2000 block of North Michigan Street.  During the traffic stop Pavon was taken into custody for operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.  Pavon was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $255 bond. He was released later that night after posting bond and was issued a Marshall County Superior Court I date of April 7th.

At 8:56 P.M. Sergeant Joe Deisch conducted a traffic stop on 19 year old Tori R. Newsome of Andrews, IN in the area of Jackson Heights Road and Michigan Street. Following the investigation Newsom was taken into custody for illegal consumption of alcohol and was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $255 bond. She was released later that night after posting bond and was issued March 31st court date in Marshall Superior Court II.

On Saturday, March 7th at 1:51 A.M. Officer Paul Stamper conducted a traffic stop on West Jefferson and North Center Streets.   19 year old Taylor Jones of Plymouth was stopped for failure to dim bright lights. During the course of the traffic stop Ms. Jones was found to be driving on a suspended license and was issued a citation and released from the scene. Marshall County Police Department K-9 Arras assisted on the traffic stop and made a positive hit for narcotics in the vehicle. A search was conducted of the vehicle and its passenger that led police to find 20 year old Taige R. Canciglia of Michigan City to be in possession of marijuana and cocaine.   He was also found to have paraphernalia on his person when he was taken into custody. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held on a $3,005 bond.

At 4:30 Saturday morning Officer Wally Derifield arrested 36 year old Edward Pontius of Plymouth in the area of Baker and Grand Street for driving under the influence with a BAC of .08 or more with a prior charge. Mr. Pontius was transported to the County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond. He was released later that day after posting bond and issued a March 17th court date in Superior Court I.
