The Heartland Artist Gallery has been working with schools in the Plymouth Community School Corporation for years to show our younger generation’s artwork! Elementary Art from grades kindergarten through 6th grade will be on display at the Gallery March 3rd through March 20th. There are many different art mediums shown: printmaking, 3D, tunnel books, watercolor, etc. The art teachers have selected art from students who show a great interest in art from the elementary schools. There are over 150 pieces of colorful, dimensional and imaginative art on display at the Gallery. There will be a Community Reception this Sunday, March 8th from 1:30-3:30.
March 22nd through April 4th more student art will be on display at the gallery. Plymouth High School Students will be on display and you won’t want to miss this display of excellent student art! There will be a Community Reception for this group of artists on Monday, March 30th from 4:00-6:00 at the Heartland Artists Gallery.
Heartland Artists Gallery promotes art and artists from the Marshall County area. Heartland School of Art’s goal is to offer art and share art through classes to all ages.
They are now able to offer additional classes in their new location at 101 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth. They offer Kid’s Art Classes, Art Summer Camp for Kid’s, and Cake & Canvas Birthday Parties. We offer classes for adults in many mediums, Wine, Color& Canvas, Portrait Drawing, Drop In & Draw, Drop In & Paint.
