Sheriff's Star BadgeOperating While Intoxicated was the number one reason for people being booked into the Marshall County Jail in May.

Taking a look at the top ten offenses you will find Failure to Appear was number two followed by Marijuana, Operator Never Licensed and Probation Violations 5th. Driving While Suspended was number 6 followed by Possession of Cocaine or Meth and habitual Traffic Violator. Rounding out the top ten was Public Intoxication and Reckless Driving.

There were a total of 190 jail bookings last month and the average daily jail population was 123.

County Police Officers initiated 106 case reports, issued 229 citation, investigated 28 property damage accidents and 2 personal injury crashes during May.
