State Representative Tim Harman (R-Bremen), on behalf of Governor Mike Pence, recently presented Plymouth native Michael Scobey the Sagamore of the Wabash for his distinguished 30-year career in the United States Airforce.

Scobey, who is now retired from the military, rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and earned a Bronze Star for valor for his service in Iraq.

Scobey, his wife Johnna, their two children, his parents and nearly 60 other guests attended the award ceremony in Plymouth. The Sagamore is one of the highest honors bestowed upon an individual by the governor for service.
