Sixteen various PHS departments inducted 12 soon-to-be graduating seniors into the Plymouth High School Academic Hall of Fame Sunday afternoon in the Studio Theatre.
This year marks the 30th year of the Academic Hall of Fame ceremony, which began with the class of 1986. Recipients of this award must have taken classes in the respective department for a minimum of eight semesters and have a minimum of an “A” average.
Prior to Sunday’s big event, seniors being inducted into the Academic Hall of Fame gathered in the Plymouth High School cafeteria with their family to celebrate this exciting day.
During the Academic Hall of Fame ceremony, each student was awarded a medallion. In addition, each recipient ‘s picture will soon be featured on an individual 2015-2016 Academic Hall of Fame plaque which will be on permanent display at Plymouth High School.
