Bremen 2016 check presentation

Bremen, IN – 1st Source Bank recently awarded a $15,000 grant to Bremen 2016 to assist with the planting of 200 trees during Indiana’s bicentennial celebration. The new trees will be planted along Plymouth Street and will also line part of South Street in front of the Bremen Elementary-Middle Schools.

1st Source Bank is pleased to contribute $15,000 to Bremen 2016 because an attractive streetscape in a strong downtown will draw more businesses and residents to the area,” said 1st Source Regional President Connie Lemler. “The new trees will benefit the community for years to come.”

Lemler and Joyce Schalliol, Customer Service Representative from 1st Source’s Bremen Banking Center, presented the contribution to Ann Scott, Jessica Flores, Steve Schnick, Janet Davis, Carol Bowen and Sharon Bohannon all from Bremen 2016 and Trend Weldy, Bremen Town Manager.
