fatal-crashTwo people are dead and police are searching for two who fled from the scene of a severe crash early Sunday morning in Marshall County.

Marshall County Police say 24 year old Paul Graham and one of his passengers, Jostiana Bouskill were pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital of South Bend on Sunday following a two vehicle crash at Plymouth LaPorte Trail and Rose Road.

Graham was driving a 1997 Honda Civic just before 2 a.m. north bound on Rose Road when he was rear ended by a 1999 Dodge Durango which County Police believe was occupied by 25 year old Shane Graham and 27 year old Monica Sanders of Elkhart.

Police say Sanders and Shane Graham fled the scene on foot and their injury status it still unknown at this time.

A passenger in Paul Graham’s Honda, 17 year old Jacob Kuskey was transported by helicopter to Memorial Hospital in South Bend Sunday morning and is currently listed in critical condition.  The third passenger, 17 year old Abri Mejia is believed to be the only one wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.  She did not receive any life threatening injuries in the crash.

Police believe speed, alcohol and controlled substances were factors in the crash that resulted in two fatalities and one serious injury.

Anyone who may have any information about this collision is encouraged to contact the Marshal County Sheriff’s Department.
