The 3rd Annual Marshall County Kid’s Expo will present the best of the area’s youth activities at the Plymouth Boys and Girls Club from 10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. this Saturday, April 16, 2016.

Parents, grandparents, and children may visit over 30 booths to learn about local camps, sports, arts, and summertime safety. This year’s exhibitors include 4-H, AT&T, the Boys and Girls Club, Community Hospital of Bremen, Dancing Shadows DJ, Drew’s Gift of Music, Earthworks, Encore Performing Arts, Expressions Dance Studio, Heartland Artists Gallery, Jana’s Gymnastics, Junior Achievement, LaSalle Council Boy Scouts, LifePlex Dance Academy, LifePlex Kids Fit, Marshall County Historical Museum, Martin’s Super Markets, the Mayor’s Youth Council, Operation Quiet Comfort, Plymouth Community School Corporation’s Athletic and Art Departments, Plymouth Family Taekwondo, Plymouth Fire Department, Plymouth Parks Department, Plymouth Public Library, Plymouth Storm Champion Force Athletics, Potawatomi Wildlife Park, Quick Lanes, Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Small Wonders, Swan Lake Resort and Golf Club, and Tri-Way Golf Club.

The Expo promises to entertain the whole family with many exciting performances and interactive elements. Among other things, kids may visit with Jax, the Police Dog, try on costumes with Encore Performing Arts, and putt with Swan Lake Country Club. Special presentations by Marshall County’s talented children will take place throughout the day:

  • LifePlex Dance Academy –                     10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m.
  • Boys and Girls Cheer Team –                 10:50 a.m.
  • LifePlex Drums Alive-                              11:10 a.m., 12:50 p.m.
  • Expressions Dance Studio-                    11:30 a.m., 1:10 p.m.
  • Plymouth Storm Champion Force Athletics Cheer-11:50 a.m., 1:20 p.m.

With each free entry to the Expo comes a chance to win a raffle prize, and all children will go home with a small toy and a bag full of information and goodies. Two lucky kids will win Camperships, scholarships to attend a camp, enjoy a membership, or take lessons. Look for the Campership signs to find the participating vendors.
