Five individuals were arrested on Friday, March 11th when detectives and officers from the Starke County Sheriff’s Office and officers from Knox City Police executed a search warrant at the Stay for Less Motel on US 30 in Hamlet.
Officers searched several rooms locating numerous items of evidence that included Methamphetamines, Prescription Pills, Paraphernalia, Syringes, several One-Pot Methamphetamine Labs, several HCL generators and items used in the manufacturing of Methamphetamines.
Arrested were:
Aaron Thomas, 40 year old of Hamlet on preliminary charges of Aiding/Inducing in Dealing Methamphetamines, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Legend Drugs, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance
Alan Craft 29 year old of Knox on preliminary charges of Dealing Methamphetamines, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Schedule 2 and 4 controlled substance, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance
James C. Clemons 54year old of Hamlet on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance
Carmen Clemons 51year old of Hamlet on preliminary charges of Maintaining a Common Nuisance and
Levi Clemons 23 yrs old of Hamlet on preliminary charges of Visiting a Common Nuisance.
Starke County K9 Zardoz, Hamlet Police and Indiana State Police Clandestine Team also assisted.
