Five people in an Amish buggy were injured Monday evening in a crash on U.S. 6.
Just before 6 the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a report of a crash with injuries near the Playmore Campground.
41 year old Sean Pelikant of Syracuse rear-ended the Amish buggy driven by 29 year old Tobias Yoder of Bremen.
The impact caused all five occupants to be ejected from the buggy. Tobias, 6 year old Jayden, 1 year old Exekiel and 3 year old Micah were transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend while 7 year old Kenton was airlifted from the scene to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne for a medical evaluation.
Pelikant refused medical treatment.
