Benack’s Crossing is this weekend, April 30th and May 1st at Potawatomi Wildlife Park at 16998 State Road 331 in Tippecanoe. Watch as the Franco-Polish army battles the Russo-Prussian army on a dynamic battlefield with cavalry, infantry and artillery. Hear the boom of cannon and gun fire! Wander the camps and see 18th century life skills demonstrated. Be entertained by tribal dancers. Meet Katarina, Princess of Kiev.
It’s more than an event, it’s an experience! Enjoy this 2-day family friendly event which runs this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Entry fee is only $10 per vehicle so it is a budget friendly family event. Pack the cars and come out!
Feel free to bring your lawn chairs to view the battlefield skirmishes on the prairie or watch and learn from one of the several demonstrations in the camp.
