A concerned citizen called 911 and reported to dispatch the sound of gunfire in the 700 block of North Center Street about 12:20 Thursday afternoon. They told the dispatcher they saw a couple men running from the scene.
Plymouth Police units immediately responded to the area and located a gold Ford Explorer with a couple of males inside.
The suspects admitted to police they were lighting firecrackers and had firecrackers in their possession.
No one was arrested.
