Plymouth Police were dispatched to a shooting Tuesday morning about 10:30 in the 1500 block of Kenwood Avenue.
Initial scanner traffic indicated a suspect had shot a male youth in the leg and left the area but as Plymouth Police investigated it was learned that the incident was an accidental shooting.
The victim was transported to Saint Joe Hospital in Plymouth with non-life threatening injuries.
Plymouth Police were assisted at the scene y Plymouth EMS, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police.
This case remains under investigation.
