Local NewsThe Plymouth American Legion Post 27 will be hosting a dinner theater on Saturday, February 27th.   Retro Act Theatrical Productions will present “Weekend Comedy” by Sam Bobrick & Jeanne Bobrick.  “Weekend Comedy” is a story about a couple in their mid-fifties and a couple in their mid-twenties that have accidentally rented the same cottage for a three-day weekend. They decide to share it. The older couple is married, the younger couple is not. The older couple is eager to rekindle the flame in their marriage, so the wife persuades her husband to take a weekend vacation in the Catskill Mountains. There’s only one small problem — their secluded one-bedroom cabin has been double booked by a young couple who are unable to keep their hands off each other.   This show promises a wonderful evening filled with laughs as the two different generations clash.
Prior to the show, the American Legion will provide a wonderful meal.  Your options are Prime Rib or a Baked Chicken Breast.  Your entrée choice will be served with a dinner salad, baked potato, green beans and rolls with butter.  Coffee, iced tea and lemonade will also be included.
Cocktail hour will start at 5:00 pm, dinner will be at 6:00 pm and the show will begin at 7:00 pm.  Run time for the play is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Cost for the evening is $30/per person for the Prime Rib entrée and $25/per person for the Baked Chicken Breast entrée.  A cash bar will be available.
