ANcilla_DiningHall_1The spring semester has begun and with it the advent of yet another historical Ancilla College moment — opening night at the new dining hall.

Students were able to warm up at the fireplace in the new building or enjoy a made-to-order meal in the dining area Sunday night after moving back to their rooms from winter break. In addition to a fresh-vegetable saute, also available for the premier meal was a salad bar, cheeseburgers, nuggets, pizza and more.

Ancilla_DiningHall_3President Ken Zirkle said he was proud of how nice the building looked and the quality of the food at the first meal.

“It’s been a steady trickle,” he said of students coming in for dinner after getting moved in.
