ShopWithACop2014_logoThe Shop With a Cop and Emergency Services program in Marshall County helped 200 children last year during the holiday season with outerwear, warm clothing and a toy.   It also provided 70 elderly citizens with $50 gift cards to local grocery stores through a partnership with Real Services and 15 clients of Marshall Starke who don’t have families to share the holiday with.

Children primarily in the elementary schools within the county can fill out an application here at WTCA, the Boys & Girls Club, the schools in the county or the local news paper.

May people will soon see donation jars in nearly 200 businesses throughout the county and many locations are selling window ornaments as a way to raise the necessary funds needed to brighten the holiday season for children and seniors.

Another fundraiser for Shop With a Cop & Emergency Services is the 9th Annual Radio Auction on WTCA, December 2nd.  More than 400 items will be on the auction block during a live all day auction broadcast on WTCA.  Anyone wishing to donate to the radio auction can call WTCA at 936-4096 or Hurshel Hunter at fop195@hotmail.com.
