Argos Schools signArgos High School will host an Orientation to High School on Thursday, February 25th at 6:30 in the evening.  Students completing 8th grade this year and their parents are invited to attend.  Mrs. Judy Delp, Guidance Director at Argos will present important information that will make the transition from middle school to high school easier.

Topics presented during the Argos High School Orientation include; diploma options, GPA calculations and the importance of starting high school strong, college admission requirements, vocational opportunities, dual credit and advanced placement classes and summer school opportunities.

Parents and students are encouraged to sign up for an evening session in March to meet with Mrs. Delp and create an individual four year plan for the future. These four year plans serve as roadmaps for future discussions and decisions for annual scheduling decisions and are invaluable in helping students see how high school paves the way to a more successful future.

The orientation will also review various opportunities for students to be involved outside of the classroom along with career pathways.
