Kirk Nellans, President of the Argos School Board took time during Monday evening’s meeting to assure patrons that the rumor mill is not accurate.
Apparently a rumor was circulating indicating that the Argos Schools are going to close.
Nellans said, “We’ve never talked about that. We’ve never considered that. We aren’t considering that. We’re committed to this place and that means this place, these people, the kids who run through this building on a daily basis because that is what it’s all about and that what it remains about. And so, I’m telling you right now that’s garbage! It’s unfounded! Is that clear? There is nothing to that so that’s my word and that’s all I have to say on that.”
