ArgosSchools_NewTeachers2016_1Joining Argos Community School Corporation as the Agricultural Education teacher this year is Mallarie Stookey.  Mallarie is an 8th generation dairy farmer from Milford Indiana. She has many different experiences with FFA, serving as a State Officer, traveling with National FFA to Costa Rica as well as countless others. She loves agriculture and is excited to be teaching!

 

Kathy Kroemer joins the Argos Schools this year as the Speech Language Pathologist.  She has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in schools, outpatient clinics and nursing homes for more than 15 years.  Kroemer lives in Fort Wayne with her husband and her 3 daughters.  She loves it here at Argos and says it is worth the drive to be part of such a great team.

 

Argos Community Schools also welcomes second grade teacher Tina Rakoczy.  Tina is a Purdue University graduate with a degree in Elementary Education and earned her Master’s Degree from Winston Salem State University in Elementary Education.  She and husband Matt are excited to have returned to Indiana after living for 15 years in North Carolina. Their children, Caleb, Elias and Eden are attending Argos Community Schools.

Third year teacher Marijke Stewart joins Argos as the Jr. High mathematics teacher.  She obtained her teaching degree from Indiana University in 2013.​ Other than enjoying math Marijke likes to take walks with her dog and husband or meet up with family and friends. She looks forward to getting to know her students this school year and helping them find success.

 

ACS Jr.-Sr. Life Skills teacher Laura Elpers graduated from IPFW with a Bachelor of Science in speech and hearing therapy and then returned to school to receive her Master of Arts in special education in 2014. She currently lives in Plymouth with her husband and 1 year old daughter.

 

Michelle Haramia joins Argos Schools as a new fifth grade teacher this year. She is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Spanish minor. In her free time she enjoys traveling, taking pictures, and playing tennis.

 

Joining the Argos Jr.-Sr. High School Science Department is Ryan Humphrey.  Ryan grew up in Northwest Indiana and completed his undergraduate work at Ball State University.  Ryan spends his time teaching, coaching lacrosse and traveling as time allows.
