Probation-violationProbation violations continue to be in the top 10 of reasons why people are booked into the Marshall County Jail.

On Monday Plymouth Police Officer arrested three more individuals for probation violations.

Officer Bob DeLee responded to the Marshall County Probation Department at 2:25 to pick up 22 year old William R. Swihart of Plymouth for a probation violation.  He was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $500 cash bond.

About 3:30 Monday Officer Ben McIntyre was called to the Probation office to arrest 23 year old Jesse Knepp of Bremen.  He too was held on a $500 cash bond.

Just before 5 Officer Joe Deisch arrested 37 year old Timothy Hathaway of Lakeville at the Probation Department.  His bond was $500.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
