Nancy Cox, the shelter’s director, said, “I want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our homeless animals.”

She said the shelter couldn’t operate at its current level without the community. “It’s due to the love and support of our wonderful community. I was so thrilled to see so many people there with their best friends!”

Cox was happy with the turnout this year, as well.

“I was so pleased to see all the new puppy faces this year,” she said. “It was the best turnout in a couple of years and because of all the support, we can save lives.”
