Lincoln Redstorm had their first home cross-country meet last night against conference opponent Wawasee. Lincoln had an amazing meet with every single runner earning a best time. Both girls and boys had tough competition but both teams edged out a win. Scoring for the boys’ team was Colin Chupp (2nd), David Schadeck (4th), Jonah Howard (6th), Nolan Bales (7th), and Nick Anders (9th). The final score for the boys’ race was: Wawasee- 29; Lincoln- 28. Scoring for the girls’ team was Lindsay Janus (1st), Aumrie Weiss (3rd), Ella Hissong (4th), Jenna Abberger (5th), and Fatima Ramirz (9th). The final score for the girls’ race was: Wawasee- 33; Lincoln- 22. Lincoln is back in action on Saturday at the Indian Springs Invitational.
