Twelve lovely young ladies who will be vying for the title of 2016 Miss Blueberry gave of their time at Miller’s Assisted Living Monday evening, June 13th. Also in attendance was reigning 2015 Miss Blueberry Queen, Cassi Quissell.
It has become customary for the contestants to visit the facility and play games with the residents as well as give manicures and pedicures as a community service project. The atmosphere is light- hearted and happy as Miller’s provides refreshments and the young ladies introduce themselves and talk about their future plans. The girls who enter the contest are between the ages of 17 and 21.
The 2016 Queen candidates are: Markee Tener-Farler, Katie Berg, Haley Hampton, Chelsea Tibbs, Korie Rice, Alli Dennie, Emily Arroyo, Katelynn Culp, Katie Lenker, Brianna Nolin, Hannah DeMont, Anya Hettich, Sarah Hawkins, and Victoria Shank. The contest will take place on Saturday, June 25 at Argos High School Auditorium.
