Mooney's electric issueMonday evening the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety heard a report on the violation at Mooney’s Ice Cream Parlor from Building Commissioner Keith Hammonds.

Mooney’s has had an existing violation with the conduit containing the electric to operate the new sign.  After speaking to business owner Jon Webster, Hammonds said he change the conduit to the sign but it’s still not the right causing him to “red tag” it again.

During the May 2nd Plan Commission meeting members discussed forcing him to shut off the electric to the sign if the violation isn’t corrected.

Monday night Hammonds told the Board of Public Works and Safety he gave Webster a deadline to complete the work or he would request action by the Board of Works at their next meeting.

Power DistributingMember Mike Delp asked the building commissioner to look at the façade for a building on PIDCO east of Oak Drive, across from Pregis.  The front of the building has been falling off and Delp believed it should be addressed by the building commission.
