BourbonPoliceThursday evening, June 16th about 11:50 Bourbon Police Officer Matt Geiger stopped a vehicle traveling 86 in a 60 mile per hour speed zone on US 30 at Gumwood Road. The driver, 19 year old Ryan M. McLaughlin of Warsaw had a suspended driver’s license and a warrant out of Kosciusko county for dealing methamphetamine.

Officers searched the vehicle and found 25 syringes and paraphernalia.

Mr. McLaughlin was taken to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Syringe, Driving While Suspended with a prior conviction, and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was held on a $3,000 cash bond and given a court date of June 28th.
