308 East Center Bourbon_1A house at 308 East Center Street in Bourbon could be torn down if the owners do not redeem the property within the next couple of days. During Tuesday night’s Bourbon town board meeting, Town Attorney Mark Wagner and Bill Keyser, Zoning/Building, told members they have been following the legal steps to have the property condemned. Keyser said he has a quote of $13,000 for the demolition and the Bourbon board approved accepting the quote and proceeding with the demolition if the deadline is not met.

Roger Terry told the Bourbon town board that his department will begin leave pickup on Wednesday of next week. He also said the paving project on Lincoln Highway is completed. The Board approved allowing passing by vehicles on the length of highway.
