Miller'sSenior_Flag Day 2016

Boy Scout Troop 251 presented a Flag Day program at Miller’s Assisted Living Facility on June 14th.

The Scouts ceremoniously presented the flag and led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. Scout Wyatt Stephan then told about the history of the American flag. The young men then took turns discussing subjects such as proper flag display, flag etiquette, proper folding of the flag, retiring the flag, and protesting the flag. Upon ending the Scouts opened the program up for a question and answer time.

Members of Troup 251 taking part in the program were Stephan, Takis Kurtis, Jack McIntire, Isaac Lemler, Joel McIntire, Gabriel Duke, Jed McIntire, Trevor Dreibelbis, and Chris Fishburn. Scout leaders present were Mike Stephan, Victor Duke, and Pam Kurtis.
