Bremen Police Chief, Brad Kile released the department’s activity report for August 19th through the 25th.
Officers from the Bremen Police Department issues a total of 42 traffic warnings and 8 traffic citations during the reporting period.
The Bremen Police Department investigated 6 accidents during the reporting period, on August 19th a property damage accident at 511 West Grant Street, one at Plymouth and Baltimore Streets and a minor incident at Montgomery and North Streets. On August 22nd there was a property damage accident at Dewey and Bowen Streets and on the 24th another property damage accident at 517 Bowen Street. The final crash was an exchange of information only at Center and Plymouth Streets.
Four arrests were made by Bremen Police officers. Those arrests include Esteban Tello of Indianapolis on August 19th for Operator Never Licensed and a Child Restraint Violation, on August 20th Elizabeth Rectenwal of South Bend was arrested for Driving While Suspended and on the 25th David Yoder of Bremen was also arrested for DWS. On August 22nd Bremen Police arrested Zachary Heckaman of Bremen for Burglary and Theft.
A criminal charge is merely and accusation. Every Defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
