The Bremen Police Department released its activity report for December 25th to the 31st.
Bremen police issued 67 traffic warnings and 21 traffic citations. Officers investigated two crash reports; on the 27th a property damage accident in the 500 block of South Center Street and on the 29th another property damage accident at the corner of Bowen and Plymouth Streets.
Bremen police made two arrests during the reporting period. On December 25th Pedro Rubio-Gutirrez of Bremen was arrested for Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication and Resisting Law Enforcement. On December 27th Richard McCarty Jr. of Bremen was arrested for Driving While Suspended with a Prior Charge, False and Fictitious Registration and Operating Without Financial Responsibility.
Bremen Fire had five calls on December 28th; a property damage accident in the 6,000 block of Fir Road, the odor of propane at 817 Elm Road, a carbon monoxide detector alarm at 603 West North Street, a gas leak at State Road 331 and 5th Road and a call for smoke at 1750 West Plymouth Street. Their final call for the reporting period was on the 29th for a general fire alarm at 103 North Center Street.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation. Every defendant is presumed innocent until or unless proven guilty.
