Updated:  On Saturday, January 23, at approximately 4:40 p.m. the Bremen Police Department received information reporting an Armed Robbery that had just occurred in the 100 Blk of W. Fourth St. in Bremen. The victim reported that he had arranged to sell items through social media to two unknown subjects from the South Bend area. The victim further reported that as he sat in the subjects vehicle, one subject presented a firearm and demanded the items. The victim was not harmed in this crime. The Bremen Police Department wants to clarify that this was an isolated crime and remind our citizens to be very cautious when arranging to meet unknown persons for transactions through social media. Remember, the Bremen Police Department is open 24 hours a day and would make a safe location to complete such transactions.

 

 

The Bremen Police Department responded to a reported armed robbery Saturday afternoon about 4:40 in the 100 block of West Fourth Street.

Officers Matt Schnaible and Trent Stouder have been assigned to the case.

The suspects are described as two black males.

This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Bremen Police Department.
