MugShot_Sidney CaldwellA Chicago man was arrested early Saturday morning following a traffic stop by county police on US 31.

At approximately 1:17 AM, Officer Wozniak stopped a 2001 Gold Ford Sport Utility Vehicle on US 31 near 11th Road for exceeding the maximum speed limit.  During his investigation is was determined the driver, 25 year old Sidney Caldwell, was found to be Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance in his system. He was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a Controlled Substance, OWI Endangering and Possession of Marijuana.

Sidney Caldwell was held in the Marshall County Jail on a $4,505 cash bond for about 8 hours before his bond was paid and he was released with a January 19th court date in Marshall Superior Court II.
