12417630_1142534329103672_4566956979591961563_n (640x308)DONALDSON, IN – The Ancilla College cheerleading team took the stage on Sunday, January 24th in Ft. Wayne, IN for the CheerMAX competition where they scored 110 out of a possible 150 points to bring home 1st place in their division.

 

The cheerleading team, who qualified for NCA College Nationals early this summer, has begun preparing for their nationals performance by taking the stage at several competitions leading up to the Nationals event.

 

The competition, that featured over 30 teams from youth to college, was the team’s first competitive performance of the 2015-16 season. “This team has worked tirelessly throughout the past four months to prepare for this performance,” said head coach Kaylee King. “They have suffered and pushed through much adversity this season and I could not be more proud of the performance they put out on Sunday. They continue to work hard each day, and I am excited to see them continue to progress their skills leading up to nationals.”

 

Ancilla cheer will compete again on Saturday, February 13th at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Ft. Wayne, IN. They will also travel to Michigan on February 14th, for the Saints Showdown at Aquinas College.
