Plymouth Color Logo2014The City of Plymouth will hold their regular meetings tonight beginning at 6 p.m.

The Board of Public Works and Safety meeting includes reports from department heads, city engineer, city attorney and clerk treasurer.  Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will update members on the construction projects.

In other business Joyce Maxwell-Downs will address the council on chemical fluoride.

The Common Council meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30.  The council will hear on 2nd and 3rd reading the ordinance to allow retiring fire and EMS personnel to purchase their service helmet and boots.  They will also consider on 2nd and 3rd reading an ordinance adopting the fee schedule for the Aviation Department on 2nd and 3rd reading.

Other items for the Plymouth Common Council are the acceptance of council member relatives working in the city and one for an elected official’s relative to contract with the city.

The Council will hear proposed amendments for the zoning ordinance and a resolution for additional appropriations.  The final item is a request by the Marshall County Blueberry Festival for a donation request.

The meetings are open to the public but comments are limited to agenda items only.
